Professional profile.
Having gone through years of study and training and finished top in my class, I have learned good organizational skills, first-hand experience in laboratory practices, good team work, punctuality and motivational attitude towards work and people, patience to listen and understand information.
Also, I have learned to teach and grown to love impacting knowledge into people, and this makes me fulfilled. I taught a class of 50-100 students various subjects such as Integrated science, English language, etc. for two years (2yrs.) at Christ Church Anglican (CCA) summer coaching.

Placements and Projects.
May 2011 – Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Microbiology Laboratory.
I was involved in processing of specimens and carrying out of various tests (Microbiological and biochemical) which helped in diagnosis of diseases and selection of antibiotics effective against such diseases. I maintained an aseptic environment making sure the results from laboratory tests were not compromised.
June 2012 – Crawford University.
I carried out my final year project in a primary school, testing children for urinary tract infections. I collected early morning urine specimens (clean catch) from 100children and performed urinalysis and culture on them. This revealed the presence of microorganisms such as Staphylococcus, Klebsiella, Escherichia coli, etc. Sensitivity test was carried out and appropriate antibiotics administered.
October 2012 – November 2013 – Secretary at Ebonyi State University (EBSU).
I worked as the Secretary in the Microbiology department. I was in charge of statistical assignments, organizing and coordinating meetings, etc. I worked closely with the Head of Department (HOD) and other staffs of the department.
July 2012 – August 2014 - Christ Church Anglican (CCA) Summer School Tutor.
I was assigned a number of students (**************) to teach Integrated Science, English & Biology. I taught adolescents and teenagers mostly (between **********).
October – December 2018 – Online ESL Tutor at Bibo International.
I was employed as an online ESL tutor to students who were mostly Chinese nationals. Sometimes, on request, we make use of materials on the company site for our lessons and other times, I have an open conversation about what interests the student to improve their conversational confidence and fluency.
January 2019 – Clinical Elective at Kansas University Medical Center (KUMC).
I was given a placement at the urology department to undergo a 1month clinical elective (SURG 917 – UROLOGIC SURGERY) under the mentorship and tutelage of various attending physicians which includes Dr. Moben Mirza, Dr. Jeffrey Holzbeierlein, Dr. Hadley Wyre, Dr. David Duchene, to mention a few. I was exposed to a number of surgical interventions which includes Radical Nephrectomy, Robotic Pyeloplasty, Neobladder Reconstruction, Cystectomy, to mention a few.
